Latex•ite® Color Combo System: Latexite Color Combo System is a durable, non-fading, high performance, all weather, 100% acrylic
coating for use on plant mix asphalt, emulsified asphalt and suitable concrete surfaces. Surfaces coated with Latexite Color Combo system protects
the underlying surface from weather and climatic conditions and is resistant to fuels, oils and solvents. Made of acrylic resins, mineral fillers and
colorfast pigments, the Latexite Acrylic Color Combo System provides a durable surface of uniform texture that remains flexible. Designed for use on
Tennis Courts, Basketball courts, Recreational areas and various other applications, the finished texture can be varied easily by controlling the amounts
of fine mesh silica sand aggregate which is added to the Latexite Acrylic Color at the project site. Unlike other acrylic surfacing systems, each coat of
the Combo System is fully pigmented resulting in a richer, longer lasting color.
Mix Design: The Color Combo System is pre-mixed with 100 mesh silica sand. The material must be thoroughly mixed to ensure a uniform
Consistency. The table below gives the amounts of water which may be added to the Latexite Color Combo System:

Application Methods: The Latexite Color System is applied in three separate applications using a 24" to 48" long, flexible (50 - 70 durometer
rubber squeegee of good quality. The first coat is a resurfacing coat (Plushtex or Acrylic Resurfacer) and the following two coats are
fortified coats. The first coat will be applied in a perpendicular direction to the playing net. The second and third coat will be applied parallel
with the playing net. Each application must thoroughly dehydrate before next coat application. The entire surface shall be checked for ridges
and imperfections after each filler coat and scraped smooth and cleaned of any loose debris. Care must be taken to ensure a smooth and
uniform texture, free from ridges and tool marks as the final coat is not to be scraped. An economy color system that can be applied to existing
courts in good condition, would consist of two color coat applications.
